FROM THE PRINCIPAL

School Council

Ormeau State School Council has paid tribute to Mrs Ros Newman who has retired from our Council at the end of 2009. Mrs Newman has worked tirelessly for 11 years, with our staff and parent body, to push forward the development of Ormeau State School. Her depth of knowledge of the Ormeau area and the generosity afforded to this school are acknowledged through this newsletter.

The new Ormeau State School Council has been confirmed for the two year cycle 2010-2011.

Arts Expo

Another great event on the Ormeau calendar. The snapshot below showcases the diverse range of activities.

2010 Booklists

Booklists for 2010 will soon be available on the school website. Students will also be handed their home copy for 2010.

School Uniform

All stock is now in. Please place your order in as soon as possible to avoid long delays and disappointment.

Unavailable Stock

No bags once current stock is sold.

There will be NO PREP School bags available at this stage for 2010. We are very sorry for the inconvenience but it is out of our control. We still have a couple of the larger bags at this stage and hope to be able to offer them again next year.

New Look Shirts

As you may be aware we have a new look shirt. The original shirts can still be worn. At this stage we still have original shirts in various sizes. We will need to move this stock before new stock can be distributed. In trying to keep it fair for all we are trying to issue one new and one original shirt whilst in stock. We wish to thank you all for your understanding throughout this process.

On Line Ordering

You can order uniforms online at Flexischools.com.au then register and place your order for uniforms and or tuckshop. You only need to register once.

Kindest regards
Heather Andrew
Principal
