Planning for 2009

All student selections for 2009 courses are locked away and processing will begin soon to form classes. This process will continue until late November. Any considered changes to courses must occur earlier rather than later otherwise places will close up.

We are expecting some 1315 students to be enrolled for 2009, which brings us to capacity, hence the roll is closed at present to cross boundary applications. As is always the case, any student living within our school boundaries is guaranteed a place at Carine SHS.

Invitation to participate in a small research study

Dr Kathy Lynch, an Associate Professor at the University of the Sunshine Coast, is conducting a study in regard to the school’s digital newsletter. The study will compare the beliefs and values of the designers of the digital newsletter (Schoolzine) to that of the readers of the newsletter. The study consists of completing a 3-5 minute online survey. Your participation is voluntary and anonymous.
